What I ordered: Samoan Congee with seafood ($15.8) The congee is smooth and flavorful, topped with crispy shallots, peanuts, shredded lettuce, and sliced fish, creating a satisfying mix of textures. It’s comforting and well-balanced. Barbecue rice noodle roll ($12.8) The rice noodle rolls are soft and silky, filled with tender meat and complemented by a rich, fragrant soy sauce. A classic, delicious Cantonese breakfast. Also, you should try their Hong Kong-style milk tea — it’s sooo good! Just don’t have it in the afternoon, or you might be up until midnight haha. “ If you’re looking for a place that serves delicious, comforting, and satisfying Hong Kong-style food without the heavy, bloated feeling afterward, Yat Tiu Rice Noodle Rolls is the spot! Every bite was a reminder of why simple, well, made dishes hit the soul. The congee was silky smooth and perfectly seasoned, just the right texture to warm your heart. The wonton noodle soup was light yet flavorful, with springy noodles and delicate, plump wontons that were absolutely spot on. I also tried their signature rice noodle rolls, and wow they were fresh, silky, and paired perfectly with the sweet soy sauce. Even the siu mai, which you might expect to be ordinary, had great flavor and texture clearly made with care. The fried bread stick (youtiao) was crispy and not oily at all, a perfect companion for dipping into the congee. To top it all off, I tried both the hot and cold Ovaltine drinks, and they were nostalgic, rich, and refreshing each in their own way. Best of all? I left feeling satisfied but not heavy or bloated, which is rare when you enjoy so many dishes in one sitting. Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic taste and great value in a cozy setting. “ What a pleasant surprise to find this noodle roll shop. We were looking for lunch and saw the full parking lot and stopped to investigate. Every dish was made fresh and piping hot. Seasoned well, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. There were tons of take-away orders too, which is a great sign of their food quality. The dining area is well lit, and the staff do a good job of clearing the tables as soon as patrons leave. I have saved this location for the next time that we want a quick brekky or lunch! ”

They’ve got a decent spread of Chinese breakfast options, leaning toward Hong Kong style, which is perfect for those mornings when you want something more soulful than smashed avo. The Cantonese flavours hit the spot, not Michelin-level, but they’ll scratch that itch you’ve had since your last dim sum binge. Drinks are… interesting. Slightly different from what I’m used to, as if they’ve taken the classic recipes on a little side trip before serving them. Still, they do the trick, and honestly, half the fun is in the surprise. All in all: not the absolute best, but definitely satisfying enough to keep my cravings for Cantonese breakfast under control, at least until I book that flight to Hong Kong. ”
